Weeee I spot a Milviz Beaver
Merlin single-seat light sport aircraft: aluminum construction, high wing, 60 HP engine, ~90-knot cruise at 2.5 gallons per hour with the newer v-twin 4-stroke. Sold as a kit plane, with parts built in Czech Republic. Theoretically very cost-competitive versus 2-seaters thanks to its lower purchase price, cheaper engine replacement cost, and low fuel usage.
Would be an interesting step in between the very slow ultralights and the 100-knot 2-seaters.
I hope for A2A to bring their Connie to MSFS with all those Captian the Ship features.
That plus the ATR and Ju from Asobo and The PC-6 from the Ukrainian dudes that post here in the forum and I’m a happy camper.
Wauv this looks just amazing
Hope we dont have to wait to long for that👌
In terms of sound the ATR 72-500
In terms of smell the Short 360
In terms of flight dynamics the MD-80
In terms of cockpit the B757/767
And in terms of all of the above the amazing MD-11
I do love the looks of that A340-600! I’ve always found it curious how this model never really made it to the flight sim community. I think only Wilco made one back in the days. I’m not crazy about Airbus in the sim (as all cockpits are the same, lame) but I would sure throw money on an A346.
I want more than anything, the golden age of jet aviation but as little glass displays as possible).
I would like a full fidelity (high fidelity or marketing coined term “study level”) version of the following planes, I expect then to have the full quirks and things that will kill me if I ignore them (I also expect at LEAST a very well done, full aspect wind tunnel model simulation with departure envelopes, ofc, then I would be willing to shell out PMDG-kind of money):
Boeing:
- B 737-200 or 200adv (additionally, the 100 would be sweet)
- B 737-400*/500/600 (any version) * (-400 Version by one of TFDi former developers)
- B 727-200 (+100 if possible)
- B 707 (there are sooo many versions I would want, but I’ll take any version that flew in 1960 or past that date)
- B 767-200/300
- B 757
- B 777 (I am willing to have some glass displays bc I love this plane)
McDonnell Douglas / Douglas / Boeing McD Division
- MD-11 (I am willing to have some glass displays bc I love this plane)
- DC-8 (same as 707, many versions. I’d like one of the 60/70s and a retroffited freight one of the 2000s)
- DC-10 * (We don’t know for sure what Asobo/Orbix plan for the future)
- MD-80 series * (In the works by Leonardo Sims)
- B 717 / MD-95 (not necessary but I’ll take it)
Bae/Aerospatiale
- Concorde (it would be nice if we could get a full fidelity one, but I don’t expect that)
Airbus
-
A300 (early)
-
A300-600
-
A340 (I’d prefer the -600 version but a -300 would be also ok)
Lockheed
- L1011
- Super Constellation (Modelled to the DC-6 level of PMDG would be enough)
Odd niche ones (nice if we get any of those):
- Convair 990
- Bae RJ/146 series
- Ilyushin IL-62
- Tupolev Tu-154M
- Tu-104B
- Dassault Mercure (comparable with mid life 737; 1971)
- VC-10
- Fokker F28* or successors (F-70, F100, etc)
(*) = already in the works, progress unknown, external model sighted
Edited known developments into the list (F28, 734, MD80, perhaps DC10)
I don’t know why you count the 737-600 to the golden age of jet airliners, probably you mean the -300. The -600 is in the making from PMDG. I guess it will be included in the -600 and -700 extension pack.
The MD-80 will be brought to the sim by Leonardo.
In no perticular order
PBY Catilina
Douglas DC 3
Pilatus PC-6 Porter
md11 - Fedex
Everything except the a320 for now lol
The 757, 767, 777 and MD-11 aren’t golden age either I meant primarily jet golden age
For me, I’m really waiting for some of the classic 1920s/1930s airliners, like the Fokker FVII, the Dragon Rapide, the Ford Tri-Motor, or the Handley Page H.P. 42, just to name a few. The classics of aviation really need to stay immortalized, and what better way than in this gorgeous sim?
ATR 72-600
SAAB 340
Embraer 190
I had the Epic E1000 as an add-on plane for X-Plane 11. I certainly would like it to be added to MFS, and I also prefer it to the TBM 930. The styling is classic; it reminds me of 1920s Art Deco. Lovely and fast plane.
Are you guys wanting more aircraft with steam gauges or glass cockpits?
Specifically when it comes to fixed wing releases.
Steam, steam, and more steam please.
Steam. With 2 (two) ADFs.
I plan to get the A2A Comanche, which I believe will be steam. I just want one really good study-level steam prop that goes fast, high, and far and this fits the bill.
For modern planes, modern glass. For classic planes, classic steam. Whatever came with the plane.
You’ll be pleased to know that Y-sim has just released an offical Subsonex JSX-2 on the SimMarket store. Reasonable price by looks of it too! Not tried it yet but I am planning to later
