I understand as a worldwide community with all sorts of different aviation likes it is very hard to develop a ‘standard’ aircraft. For instance, I’m a low and slow sort of pilot. I have no desire with rare exception to fly above 12,000 ft. In fact, I prefer 2000 to 5000 ft. I’m more of a ‘bush’ plane sort of guy.

- I don’t like this term ‘study level’ but somehow it’s come to mean a plane with all the various switches and knobs working as they do in ‘real’ life. I wish all aircraft in this game met that standard.

Maybe with the Sim Update 11, where WASM on Xbox is fixed(defintly), the Team of FlyByWire change their mind, and bring them to Xbox. It would be work:hugs:

I had considered doing this to go alongside my Top 5 thread, but I really don’t fancy sifting through nearly 2,000 posts to get it started!
Can’t think of a quick way to do that first stage, as there have already been multiple repeat suggestions of some planes but often written slightly differently (for the names of the planes) so can’t even do an automation and find and replace kind of thing to remove duplicates - would have to be checked manually and I don’t think I have the enthusiasm for that right now.

I think we need more regional twin props, like SAAB 340 and 2000. And anything ATR.

I feel like this thread is more “post photos of the weirdest aircraft you know”.
Personally, I just want the ATR. Once that comes out I don’t need more planes.
If you’re referring to my last post, in my case, no. I am genuinely interested in aircraft of the past and that are obscure. Those are genuinely what interest me and what I’d like to fly in the sim.
I cannot speak for anyone else.

I hope there’s a Dash 8 in the works, in the future. It’s a great aircraft.
There is a decent looking Dash-7 being worked on. But yes, I would love a Dash-8, preferably a Dash-8-300
