If they were available then these would be a no brain buy
Bluebird 757
Majestic Q400

Of what is currently available then the FSS Embraer is quite attractive even if not quite complete though I’d really like a 100% finished product.

I’m not ignoring the PMDG 777, it’s just not of interest at the moment.

Am I overlooking anything?

Hi,

at my brain now (and interested probably but not at June released???): DC10/MD11 and Fokker 28/100??? Sry I don’t remember now exactly…

Unfortunately we won’t see the Q4 until 2025.

I’ll be grabbing the 777 next week, nothing else on the horizon that I’m really interested in. Have everything else already.

Ah the Little Fokker (as KLM did refer to it…), had forgotten about that, yes that’s definitely one to look out for.

I’m sure the DC10/MD11 (whichever it is) will be good, I’m just not really into the heavies, a typical sim session is a couple of hours.

I’m quite enjoying the E190/5 (& I don’t have the E170/5). It’s nice to hand fly too, only custom fmc and vnav really missing but due sometime in 2024. Very nice model though. Haven’t regretted getting it, and I was a skeptic before.
On the radar for me is Taog’s Hanger Huey on Friday this week and then the 777 next week.

uuuuuf yes,
that PMDG 777 is very interesting product and I don’t doubt about its complexity  so… I’m looking to it anyway although Salty 747 mode is absolutelly enough to me  will see the price, little bit afraid to see it.

With hardly anything on sale wait until FS expo to see if they list the 2024 planes.

A2A Comanche. Trust me, even if that particular plane isn’t exactly what interests you, it’s simply the best there is. Other planes have good systems modeling(and certainly more intensive, not that the Comanches isn’t true to life there just isn’t that much to model there, it’s a simple plane) and by the book flight modeling, but the mechanical modeling is to a whole different level and it’s the one plane in the sim that manages to simulate what it actually feels like to fly a small plane, misfires, rattles and all(and I mean I’m still working on my license but I have really flown, including in a buddy’s actual Comanche). It makes everything else feel sterile and not as magically fun to hand fly.

Completely agree. Everyone should own the Comanche, it will give experiences you won’t get with any other aircraft.

You seem to like twins so I would definitely consider the Blacksquare Duke too, that would give you a mission profile you don’t currently have.

Probably check out the Top 10 Aircraft thread. Lots of great aircraft in there.

Unfortunately I’m on Xbox(I have too many expensive hobbies. PC build never quite seems to be where I want to spend fun money) but supposedly they should be on marketplace within the next few weeks. Definitely planning on getting the Turbine Duke because a good twin turbine is something new for me. I was gonna get them both as soon as they came on marketplace but if you didn’t see A2A just announced the Aerostar is really coming out by the end of the year so I think I’m just going to skip the Piston Duke. I think it would just end up being completely unused when the Aerostar comes, plus I already have the 414 and 310 anyway.

Because I’m on Xbox I haven’t gotten to use a Black Square product yet but all reports indicate the depth is awesome but they still don’t feel as alive as the A2A products so I just assume the Aerostar will be my go to piston twin.

I would definitely get the Turbine, it took A2A 3 years to develop the Comanche so I wouldn’t hold out hope the Aerostar will be out by the end of the year (although it would be nice if it is), they seem to be one of the developers that want to make sure everything is 100% before release (which is good).

Apparently it may also not be pressurised which if true massively puts me off as I can already fly the Comanche at FL120.

The Turbine will push 300 knots at FL280.

A2A said they hope to release it this year. Comanche took ages because they had to write Accusim v2 for MSFS. New planes from them shouldn’t take as long now that they’ve done that.

High fidelity and keeps you on your toes.

As a person who transitioned from XBox S to XBox X to Windows PC I have a small amount of experience. I also had to upgrade my flight controller systems. Was it worth it - yea mostly but that is a topic for a different day.
I do enjoy the greater flexibility and range of planes for the PC.
I would recommend the DC 6 from PMDG.
The HJet is also a very good buy.
Comanche by A2A is a hit/must-buy.

I’ll stop there, 0h oh the Bea 146 aka Quiet Jet is also a good return on investment.

Hi, I made a list of some planes but since I have problems with the game I won’t buy anything more. until my problem is resolved.

On top of what another commenter mentioned about Accusim being a huge time suck(I mean it’s literally running its own sim that’s then fooling the base sim into doing the right thing), the Aerostar 600 is also powered by twin IO-540s, fuel injected variant of the engine in the Comanche so that’s gotta save some time on the engine modeling. Ya though, probably unpressurized, I would assume they would’ve said 601p if they meant 601p. I bet it comes soon, I think they were just holding their cards close to their chest on this one for whatever reason.

I mean honestly it’s not breaking realism to go over 12k if you want, actual pilots aren’t afraid to use oxygen. Throw 10 pounds in the back seat for your portable oxygen system if it makes you feel better haha.

Either way though yeah definitely getting the Turbine Duke. Currently the 414 is what I use when I want to eat some miles and the Turbine Duke is going to blow that out of the water
