In MSFS2020 there was a command (forgot what it’s called) that let you basically just pop your head up a few inches in order to see over the dash better, then you press the key again and your head pops back down to normal.
Which command is that called in MSFS2024?
For me it was just the up arrow vs the down arrow. Unfortunately I can’t check at the moment which function I mapped it to though.
Shift + E is to Increase Cockpit View Height and Shift + Q is to Decrease Cockpit View Height by default:
To go left, right, forwads, and backwards, use SHIFT + WASD:
thanks for chiming in, however that wasn’t quite it. it was a single key command that popped your head up and down a set height. i’ll have to check next time i’m in MSFS2020 and see if it made it to MSFS2024
Maybe “Camera → Cockpit camera → Cockpit view upper” ?
actually it might be “toggle landing view mode” will need to experiment
“Cockpit view upper” is what I believe you are looking for. I can’t check the exact command right now, but it’s something along those lines.
