I do not have an xBox but the Xbox controllers are awesome when you play with vehicles in Battlefield games, I have been playing simulators since I was a child, but I have a terrible flight using only the keyboard, I bought a Game Pass just to play FS2020, although I liked the ATC menu looks like still like in FSX, although it looks better than in Xplane, I bought X-Plane on steam sale, I also have Flight Sim World and FSX
In addition, my computer is lagging, I suspect it’s because of the graphics card

It’s not just the graphics card causing poor performance. Your whole computer is inadequate for MSFS. You’re just barely meeting the minimum specs to run it. That’s to RUN it. Not to run it well.
Slow processor, low RAM amount (the bare minimum to run Windows 10), slow DDR3 RAM, slow GPU. A faster GPU and an increase in RAM to 16GB would help, but there’s only so much you can expect from a 6 generation old CPU and 5 generation old GPU when people with current, top of the line systems struggle with this sim.
Easier to say harder to do, I can’t afford it yet, I’m going to save some money on my savings account and buy a used but more modern computer, I’m going to wait a bit as I put my money back and the Polish tax office will send me the income tax return for 2020
I would also like to play CyberPunkna 2077, our Polish export hit, but I know that it will not start on this computer, Assassin Creed Origin can hardly run on this computer, my older brother bought it for me, my older brother bought it on my behalf on Allegro this is our Polish equivalent of Amazon
I’d recommend the Logitech 3D Pro joystick over an xbox controller - it’s only $35 USD if you can find it. I believe that’s cheaper than an Xbox controller if I recall correctly.
I would not bother upgrading your PC instead I would get a X Box Series S which will blast out most high end PC’s difference being high end PC upgrade $$$$$$$ Xobox Series S Spec

If you’re controlling just with the keyboard there, you’re doing really well because it’s difficult! As said above, a cheap joystick will be tons better. Also … you might want to try flying just a little faster

But o have problem with gaining requested altitude 8400 FT flying Cessna, I did not had this problem in MSFX
