White dot / limited controls after update

Never seen it before, forced update this morning, and now:

  1. White dot in the center of the view.

  2. Some instrument controls don’t work properly, e.g. Carenado V35: HSI-related controls don’t work & simply cause a white dot to appear over the instrument.

I’m not in VR mode, no XBOX controller is connected at the moment.

Is there a way to get rid of this?

[edit] Solved, I think:

This needs to be set/reset to “LEGACY”.

I haven’t flown the V35 in ages, so may do so tonight to check.

I never had the white dot, either before or AAU2.

If you unplug all of your equipment, except for the mouse & keyboard, do you get it then? No yoke, rudder, TQ, instrumentation etc.

Just saw your update. So perhaps the white dot is really linked to the whatever the non-Legacy interaction method is called. Modern?

I have only ever used Legacy.

Same issue with the King Air. The mentioned work around does not work properly. The White dot only appears when you are not air born. It is annoying
