Where is the White House building in the recent City Update IX, Northeastern U.S.? :thinking: Did Asobo forget to handcraft this iconic building in the capital city, of all places, in the U.S.??

Please see attached screen shots. From the area of the helipad in the White House lawn, the White House building is missing. Bird’s eyeview in the other screen shot shows only the foundation of where the White House should be. I downloaded the recent City Update IX from the MSFS 2020 Marketplace. Any thoughts on why it’s not showing up?

Do you have the msfs rolling cache enabled ?, if yes, then disable or delete it and test again.

do you have any other DC scenery installed such as Drzewiecki Design’s Landmarks pack? Or their KDCA scenery? Or any freeware that’s in the vicinity?

Please check also, if you have updated the us world updates (check content manager for for available updates)

@WoodCone3849946 Hello Elmo, did you fix it? I’ve seen another user with this same issue and the problem was the White House POI came with the 40th Anniversary update. Can you confim this package is installed on your simulator?

Thank you for your comment Carlos! Re-installing the 40th Anniversary update worked, and the White House is now where it should be. :+1: Sometime ago, I uninstalled this update, along with others (training files, bush flights, some askbo planes) that I don’t use, to try and shorten the loading time of MSFS. Many thanks again!

I have the same Problem! How can I reinstall the 40th Update? I can’t find Iit in my content manager

Have you “bought” it in the Marketplace? It’s a free update, but you have to first go to the Marketplace and get it there.

So i can’t find the 40th Update either in my content manager nor in the Marketplace. I’m an Xbox User.

It’s not in the Marketplace, but it should be in the content manager. Can you print your screen searching for the 40th anniversary update? Maybe there’s a filter in place.
