Who of the developers tested the career mode?

It seems no one of the Microsoft Asobo Team,

  • most Missions are departing/arriving on military airports, why?
  • Cruise Altitude for Cessna 172 or other small planes is 31.000 feet. Really ?!? Who of you has flown with a real C172 this height?
  • No missions for better planes like PC-12, just spend all my money to get one, just to find out there are no missions for it anywhere

Fair criticisms.

I change cruise altitude now in the EFB before I set out. :relieved:

Can’t finish missions in the R66 as there is no parking brake to set, these blue gates intersecting with the planetary surface in mountainous areas, helicopters and planes jumping up and down at the beginning of a mission causing it to crash, penalties that make no sense. The list goes on and on.

Imagine there are more than 500 cooks/engineers/musicians, but no chief cook, no chief engineer, no conductor.
Lots of good ingredients, ideas, but no one conducting it.

The worst thing is that mistakes can happen. But the number of small mistakes that are so obvious but supposedly never seen by the developers is so unbelievable

Who of the developers tested the career mode?

There are only two possible scenarios:

  • they tested it, they knew there are millions of bugs but released it anyway because MS didn’t want to move the release date.
  • No one tested it.

Easy answer no one. I have tried to be fair with the sim but there are just some staggering bugs and oversights in career mode that even the most basic testing would show. The more I think about the state of the career mode the more I don’t understand how anyone would think this was acceptable and that they surely knew what would happen when released to the public. I really want to think it wasn’t known by the devs the state of disrepair. if that’s true that implies they totally incapable of coding career mode.

Hello. I have also seen more than 200 errors in missions and aircraft in career mode, I am documenting all of them until I have detected about a thousand errors to publish them, let’s see if that helps to fix them as soon as possible. Greetings

I even started my Career on a military airport, while most civilian airports are not available as a homebase.
