I just registered but I’m locked out of every part of the forum it seems. I just bought MSFS2020 deluxe version and in using if for almost a week now (maybe 70 hours in the A2A alone) and I have not seen a single A.I. plane anywhere nor any kind of traffic despite being at peak times in some of the busiest airports in the world… my entire sim is a total ghost town even though I have the A.I. traffic settings maxed out. This is really quite depressing because after the sterile dead environment that I found myself in for years with X-Plane I thought Microsoft flight simulator would be different. Live traffic non-existent, A.I traffic non existent. Looks like I just might have bought myself into another sterile ghost town. The promotional videos showed a world bustling with life, people, ground staff, and even animals, But I see nothing at all.
I just spent 40 minutes with FSLTL Traffic following their instructions.. no matter what settings I choose again I see zero trafic, no planes, no vehicles, no workers.
I then tried JustFlight FSTraffic.. same issue. Dead zone.
What could be wrong? Is something broken in my sim?

All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
Go into General Options and go through the categories, there are a number of toggles and sliders related to AI traffic, etc… Ensure you have them turned on.
Also ensure you have Online Functionality enabled.
In the World Map, there is also a setting for Multiplayer, etc…
I have no idea where that is or how to get there..
This forum layout seems to be a bit like Reddit, where you have categories in the never-ending cycle of yet deeper subcategories. The more you search the more lost you get.
Are you flying using a monitor or in VR?
I ask because the 2D/screen and VR have separate settings.
Perhaps worth sharing screen shots of your setting would help others diagnose the issue…
