This, my friend is study level. Over $3000 and it doesn’t DO anything. It is however 100% accurate and allows real world pilots to practice everything from crew resource management to cockpit flow. You can even do emergency procedures.
I spent long hours sitting in front of the same poster board representations of both the dash-8 and the 737.
Point is, a computerized cockpit that actually clicks and lights that go on and off when they should, along with properly modelled hydraulic systems and engine/fuel management, etc. is a huge step up from what real pilots have used for years.
Would I pay $150 to PMDG to have that “study level” cockpit? Resounding, YES.
