I literally see zero clouds and at 37k ft have one knot of wind at always 270 degrees? Where is the live weather???
Are you sure live weather is turned on? It’s turned off by default if I’m not mistaken.

I tried turning it on, as yes that is true and basically nothing changed. The sky was perfect still, no wind, or anything like that.
are you on live time as well? they added a really dumb system in this sim where the “live” weather is dictated by the time. i really wish there was a way to leave the weather on TRUE live and change the time, like in 2020.

Wow - really? I always change my time on my simulator to be closer to what i have locally - and on 2020 it doesnt change the weather…maybe they are going to historical…sigh another regression for me if so. Another thing to check once I finally load up 2024 (Im still a week away from even playtesting to save myself some headaches right now)

yup, thats what ive noticed at least. I really hope im wrong about not being able to change that and i missed a setting or something, because i ALWAYS fly with live weather, and almost NEVER with live time. so this feature is completely useless for me lol. the menu options in the weather tab are also so confusing, i have no idea what the difference between the two “live” and “custom” subtabs are.

Have you guys gotten the weather to work OK? Working well for me now that I have messed about. When you start a flight there is a LIVE panel that needs the weather turned on. Think I have it all in default correctly now. We have a storm today in San Francisco and it is very realistic. I flew to the tops of the clouds and then an ILS.
My Personal Comment & Observation
It appears to vary from place to place. I just completed a flight to Miami in Live weather and the weather in the sim seemed to match that of the National Weather Service:

Same issue, live weather setting cannot be selected and defaults to other presets.

Mine is working now. We have lots of weather in San Francisco.
Under Settings - Data, you have to enable live weather services.
Has been working fine for me.
Never seen it……. Maybe I need more RAM but I thought 32mb would be enough
