Not working … sorry
Try this:
Generate a FP in LNM and load it into MSFS.
Fly the pane with AP on, and “it follows the magenta Line”-- almost
If you zoom all the way in, you will often see a slight offset on the GPS.
If you look at LNM, that has the same FP, and zoom all the way it, the plane is exactly following the LNM FP drawn leg.
So you might conclude from this that the Plane is correctly following the Flight Plan ( with no offset), but there is a drawing error in the GPS that is displaying either the plane, or the magenta line incorrectly.
Maybe something to do with different Map “Projections” ?
The AI and/or the Auto Pilot are extremely frustrating. After reading, what seems like a thesis (one set of set-up instructions is over 200 pages), it is still impossible to fly some of these airplanes (3rd party add-ons, i.e. Kuro, Horizon as examples). The in-simulator MSFS AI is garbage. Sorry, but it is useless. I realize that 3rd party add-ons may not be official but perhaps a standard policy should be that ANY add-on MUST include the operation of the in-simulator AI. Before anyone tells me to learn to fly…I have. I have mastered the FBW A320 which is why learning the others is so frustrating.
We need some basic oversight and help getting every plane into the air.
