I read lot of post and YT vids from others. Their flight time in passive income page is around 8-12 hours. But mine barely exceed 2 hours.
Was any of that flight time for Employee missions as opposed to Freelance? Employee missions don’t count towards your passive income flight hours yet.
Hello
You have to fly a lot on an active basis to earn good passive income.
If you don’t fly any active flights, you’ll even earn 0!
Happy flying!
The answer is simple: bugs, bugs and more bugs !
I have a hundred planes, about half of which have crews. I stopped flying missions for a week, and started again two days ago, just doing three first flight missions (less than 45 minutes).
The next day I looked at the passive income: the insurance was billed to me at 38 minutes for a single plane, which was perfectly normal.
On the other hand, for passive income, I had a majority of planes with 38 minutes, but also many with only 2 minutes!!! which is impossible and totally illogical.
I stopped looking for why, the only reason can be summed up in one word: BUGS!
And Maintenance - if you don’t maintain the planes you own they will not fly when you do.
Do you mean the flight time in passive income is the same as my flight time?
Hi,
No, not the same time; there must be an algorithm that calculates it. I don’t know how, but I noticed that…
So…on to the cockpit!! lol
I was surprised that at the end of a 15 minute Free flight I had generated income of 15 minutes in career mode. I also noticed when accelerating time the UTC clock does not speed up. Therefore doing a 4 hour flight at 4X speed you will only take 1 hour of actual time when you arrive. And your flight time in the Log Book will also only show one hour of time.
From the moment you take off until you land.
That being say, for now, to speed up my revenue, I can increase my sim rate to gain more money. But when I have a large fleet, I should not do that anymore.
