Why not cache fspackages?

Suggestion re: bugs & installing.

Store the downloaded .fspackage files in a seperate directory. When the installer tries to download them then check this directory and checksum the file (to check its not corrupt, if so it’s redownloaded obvs).

Users should be able to delete the directory and/or files (in which case it proceeds as normal).

Rationale: much of the problems could be helped by a reinstall of MSFS, but this is a long winded process.

It would use up HD space so should stop if this is a measureable problem (say < 200Gb free ?) but could be deleted if this was appropriate.

It’s much easier to do this than having a validation system for .fspackage files.

May not be appropriate for XBox.
