Why us 'oldies' are maybe less critical

This is true but some (ie me) have given up (more or less) or are scared (ie me) of “action” by Moderators etc etc.

There is no need to fear posting negative feedback and criticism on the forums. We value all feedback, and players reporting bugs and discussing areas where they feel MSFS needs improvement is extremely valuable to the dev team. The volunteer forum moderators will never remove a post just because it’s negative. Of course, the key is to be constructive in your criticism, which many people fail to do.
