Wifi stops working when I launch Flight Simulator 2024

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Since yesterday, monday 18 March 2025, when I launch Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, it makes the Wifi stop working. The simulator remains loading in 0%, and any internet speed test return with a Not Internet Connection error.
Once I close the Simulator, the networks works perfectly at its 600 Mbps.

It happens with the Wifi. It works with cable (but due to my cable is old, my max speed by cable is only 100 Mbps).

I played without problems during the last weekend, so I don’t think the problem is on the Sim Update from last week.
I reinstalled it again and the problem perisist.
I had been playing with the Simulator since January without any problem.

Do you have a Lenovo-pc? If so, there is a setting “network boost” for games in the Lenovo Vantage-app. That setting does the exact opposite when starting a game. Took me weeks to troubleshoot this isssue.

In Windows 11, you can control which apps can access Wi-Fi through the Privacy & security settings under “App permissions”. You can choose which apps have access to Wi-Fi, or other network features, by navigating to Start > Settings > Privacy & security > App permissions.

No, it isn’t. It’s a PC configured for gaming. The OS is Windows 10

Problem solved changing the wifi channel in the router configuration.
Thanks to my beloved wife, who found the solution

Sometimes it works changing the Wifi channel, but again it happens that the Wifi dies after getting into Flight simulator.
The games load properly but, once inside the game, any kind of wifi connection is lost.
I’m fed up of this ■■■■■■ game full of errors everywhere.
