Out of sympathy I was wondering if everybody is doing well concerning the ongoing wildfires in Bordeaux?
I hope the team is being well.
My thoughts are going to the ones involved at those fires.

The big fire is in the forests of the Regional Nature Park Landes de Gascogne, about 40 km from Bordeaux.
Unfortunately, more than 15,000 hectares have already burned down there.
My thoughts to everyone who lives there!

Camper or picnicer discards an empty glass bottle. Sun’s rays are focussed by the glass on to already dry plant material starting a fire. Never attribute to malice what which can adequately be explained by stupidity.
Whatever the cause, what is exacerbating the situation is very dry conditions caused directly by climate change. Perhaps these fires will focus minds!
It won’t make any difference, sadly. Give it a few months, and everyone will have forgotten all about it until next year.
The solutions to these problems are not necessarily complicated, but the most effective measures will affect the economies of the companies that make the required changes. You’ll probably find that most countries are waiting for everyone else to make a move, either to see how damaging these changes are or secretly hoping that if everyone else does it, and there is an effect, then they won’t need to.
Ever heard of lightning strikes? Happens very often.

Fires do occur in nature and always have done. Pull apart an old grass cuttings compost heap, you’ll almost certainly see smoke and occasionally actual flames.
