also to add I have the G1 pro, which I gather is a good as if not better than the G2, this thread as an example

Returning HP Reverb G2 and keeping Quest 2

This G2 is going back. Only getting 15-25% focused sweet spot area and the rest is blurry is pretty disappointing. Using the G2 for a few days made me realize what a complete package the Q2 is. Even though I’m very happy with the current Q2 resolution, can’t wait for the Quest 3 with higher resolution.
