32gb is plenty. Ram speed would be more worth the money then getting more gb’s at that point. Fast ram & an ssd. The new rtx cards have decent vram to help out anyways

64gb and an M.2 drive will make a massive difference. It did for me. In fact i built a new system from overclockers and i said i wanted 64gb for my gaming machine.
The tech guy started laughing… saying “hahah you will never need that much for a gaming machine.. only for video editing and so on… unless your playing flight simulatores”
My reply “… yeh thats what im building the machine for flight sims ie the new msfs2020…”

You don’t need 64gb of ram for this sim. 32GB is more than enough. As others have said i’ve not got above 22-23gb even in high density areas. Keep your cash for that 3080/3090, it won’t be cheap.
