I’m not the most tech person but as a very keen MS2020 enthusiast I have notched up 200+ flying hours with multiple achievements - will these be saved when I change computers?
How would I go about saving this or is it backed up automatically? Apologies as I’m sure this would have been covered multiple times before!
Basically my work are getting rid of the gaming laptop they bought me (which I cheekily installed it on!) and I won’t be in a position to buy a personal gaming pc until at least 3 months time…
I think your achievements and hours are stored in the “cloud”. You just log into your XBox account on the other computer - but others will know for certain.
Any add-ons like aftermarket aircraft or airports will need to be installed on the new system if you want to keep using them.
Your control bindings and profiles are also stored in your cloud account. So when you change PC, your control profiles and bindings will be transferred as well.
Great stuff, I appreciate all your comments. Let’s see what happens and I will update this post in the near future when I get the new pc to confirm exactly what happens! Thank you
I have had to re install 3 times now due to PC issues. All your keys settings get saved. The only things that don’t get reinstalled are your downloads and monitor settings.
You need to go back in and manually tell it to download them again. There maybe a single button option to do this, but I didn’t see it.
