Give yourself challenges like I do. Why wait for them to give it to you?

Here’s one: Land on any runway close to the sea. The winds would be too hard to make it a difficult landing.

Hello @GDGodSpeed,
I have created this topic for you from a post in “What did you do in MSFS today?”

“New events?” This is a simulator not like call of duty or something
.they already give us WUs and stuff and that has bush trips and sometimes landing challenged

They used to be weekly on launch, after the patches got monthy, and later on bi-monthly, they got changed to spotlight events, and you’ll generally get a new one on every sim update and world update, but not every time.

If a new one shows up, it’ll be on the main menu page, top left window generally.

I think the achievement description got changed on MS Store, but not on Steam.

Start with Tioman Island in Malaysia. You wont be disappointed, I promise.

You can create your own.

  1. Get a world map, some thick cork, put it up on the wall, and throw darts. Where the dart hits is your new challenge.

    • Make your own rule about hits in the ocean.
  2. Do what this guy does.

  1. Number regions from one to twelve and roll dice.

  2. What’s in the news today?

    • Biden?  Go visit Washington DC.
    • Trump?  Go buzz Mar-a-Lago.
    • Putin?  Visit Moscow!
    • A 20 car pile-up on I-15?  Go explore the area.  (Or fly in with a helicopter and help medivac people to local hospitals.)
    • A natural disaster in Costa Rica?  Grab the DC-3 and fly in humanitarian aid.

Use your imagination!

P.S.
No arms shipments to revolutionary governments allowed.

I also watch a fair amount of National Geographic and BBC documentaries. I note down the areas of interest. Then I find them on the map, create a flight plan, and fly.
