Is there any effect on the glass (windscreen wipers) when it’s raining .e.g; PMDG B737-800?
Not in FS2020, as we never found a satisfactory way of making them work. We will have those working in the FS2024 versions, though.

In FS2024, yes.
For FS2020, unless something changes, likely not.

For FS2020, we were being promised a fix, but it never materialized. Some devs created a workaround that changed the droplets to something else, but we never liked it that much. So, for our FS2020 projects, you should not expect any change.
