Yes…I contacted support…result…what is not displayed is not supported…
I don’t know why or how, but my Winwing joysticks have been vibrating on the MH60 just since a moment ago…
Update… there seems to be a new driver… 1.16.57 Beta… my Ursa joysticks are now vibrating, but I still can’t adjust anything.
I do have the same problem. Not all Fenix A320 variants are listed and the iniBuilds A350 is also missing. When I look at the msfs 2020 installation I do see all the planes. So something must be wrong with the MSFS2024 Configuration, but I don’t know what. Did you got it working in the end?
No. At some point, I think with the beta driver update, the sticks started to vibrate during certain flight maneuvers. But I only fly helicopters, I can’t say anything about airplanes.
But I have turned off the vibration again, because it is not adjustable how strong, when etc. the effects occur ..with the helicopter only from / up to a certain engine power … otherwise it does not vibrate … I would like it to vibrate very slightly in flight
I did contact their customer support and apparantly the planes that aren’t displayed under Aircraft are not supported. Which is a bit strange because for example the Fenix A320 is displayed but the Fenix A319 isn’t displayed. Anyway I also turned off the vibration ![]()
Does anyone have a good controller binding file for the Ursa Minor Fighter R to import to MSFS 24?
I think i found a simple way to make it work. I’m not sure this would be the correct way to do it, but it works for me.
Mine is for MSFS2020 Microsoft Store Version. It might work for MSFS2024 as well.
First, SIMAPP PRO Settings:
-
SIMAPP Pro
Click the setting icon next to the “LOG OUT” button (if you have already sign in with your account").The path directories:
For “User data Path”:
The WGS file location:
C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgsFor me this was the file location of “wgs”. Fill this into SIMAPP
The Install path directory” is where Flightsimulator is installed - in my case it was Default XBOX Games path:
C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight SimulatorNow the Aircraft model path:
This was mine-G:\Microsoft Flight Simulator\MSFS2020\Packages\Official\OneStoreIf you using the default MSFS path, then,
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStoreThe Third Party Aircraft path: is the community folder path.
In my case it was cusom disk path: G:\Microsoft Flight Simulator\MSFS2020\Packages\Community
If you using the default MSFS path, then,
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\CommunityThis was my path:
Second, KEY BINDING:
In order for the keybinding to work without error, you should:
-
Run MSFS and load the Control settings page.
-
Select the URSA MINOR joystick and set a key (can be anything). Example: Landing gear is set to Button 1.
-
Save it and exit MSFS.
-
Then, open SIMAPP Pro and go to the KEY BINDING page:
Should look similar to this:
-
On the right side screen, download the profile that you prefer. (I already downloaded the WinWing Default key settings). After the download is successful it should appear on your left side screen (something like the image above).
-
Now select the profile (for me the default one from WINWING. You may select other profiles as per your need), and click RUN.
-
It should turn GREEN. This shows it is successfully installed.
NOTE: The RUN button will appear green when the URSA MINOR key binding profile is successfully installed. Otherwise, when you press RUN it will show you some error as: “WARNING! CAN NOT FIND BINDING FILE INFO FROM THE GAME CONFIG FOLDER.
- Set and save the current device’s key information in the game.
- Please check in SIMAPP PRO SETTING of the game config folder."
If you see this error, you should run Step 2 above.
Now SIMAPP Pro should work as expected.
Any insights on Winwing Ursa Minor on listed lines will be good to know
- Overall quality and precision
- Ruggedness and life of the joystick
I like mine. It feels good and works well. I think I’ll get my money’s worth with this one.
Only issue is the SimAppPro software which is still poorly supported.
Picked one up recently and I love it. Feels great, I had a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog which is way more expensive but doesn’t feel as nice as the winwing one. In my opinion. It is cheap enough to give it a try.
The precision and feel from the gimbal will be very good, since they “borrowed” that part directly from the VKB Gladiator. Due to that, it will feel way better than any Thrustmaster or Logitech stick.
As to the overall quality, ruggedness and life, just google “Winwing Ursa Minor problems” and be warned. Customer service seems to be one of the issues, but it’s far from the only one.
For slightly more outlay, you would be much better off with a genuine VKB Gladiator.

So, if one is lucky getting it in once piece and in working condition, it is a better controller. However, key is having the luck on your side.
Didn’t realize it is a Chinese company, thought only manufacturing happens there.
Well, better than what?
The WinWing Ursa Minor uses a copy of the gimbal that is already used in the VKB Gladiator joystick.
This means the WinWing will probably feel very good at first. But whether it is a poor implementation of the gimbal or problems elsewhere in the design and build, they do not seem to be very reliable, and the customer service sounds awful.
By comparison, the VKB Gladiator is extremely well designed and built, has very powerful software and the customer service is excellent. You can also get swift assistance via their forum and discord channel.
IS there a similar help thread for a Steam version of FS2024. My issue are the program paths. I suspect that s its not working
