Hi, does the aircraft model you are using it with support this behavior?
I don’t know I’m using the Fenix at the moment and everything is working as it should it just takes an age turning the heading when doing touch and go circuits apart from that it’s working as should
I just purchased the Winctrl PFP 7. The issue is that it came from the factory with PFP 3N firmware. So it thinks it is a 737 N FMC. It works in the 737 but doesn’t work in the 777.
I manually down;loaed the PFP 7 firmware but it will not let me do a manual firmware update because SimAppPro thinks I have a 737 panel.
Customer service for me has been non existent. I guess with good quality at a good price you can’t have everything.
@TenPatrol this is a hard one to figure out.

You should create a Reddit account and send a DM to WINWING2022

Explain clearly that your PFP7 came brand new with PFP3N firmware installed on it.
EDIT
Have you tried a different version of SimApp Pro?
Hi TenPatrol. Thanks for the message. I am using SimAppPro 1.16.89. What version should I try?
FWIW been using 1.16.89 since it was released with no issues on the FBW A320 and the PMDG 737s & 777s. All the best for getting your purchase made whole!
I’m also on SimAppPro 1.16.89. Maybe try one of the older versions.
Try 1.16.88
A dude fixed it on Reddit!! He had the same issue. The worker on the assembly line doing the flashing must have been sleepy. Thanks man. You were a big help. Had to edit a config file. Here is the solution:

If you are using the PFP 7 for other aircraft, creating a reference template helps! Just populate with the new assignments.
Ah! How should I reprogram my WW MCDU to work with Boeing aircraft?
You might need additional software to make that work, such as SPADnext, AAO or the freeware Mobiflight.
Which Boeing aircraft? The MCP works with PMDG and Asobo out of the box. Needs a slight tweak to work with iFly.
I have the 777 FMC which works with Fenix, PMDG and iFly. I have not set it up for Asobo yet.
I use Mobiflight and SimAppPro.
Ok I have used Mobiflight a lot.
For the 737 the issue is making the MCDU buttons logical i.e. for programming a flight.
With Airbus text on the buttons, how does one avoid confusion?
Specifically: Airbus does not have “Hold”, Boeing does not have “Dir”
I use a 777 FMC for flying an Airbus. I print out a template and have it under the FMC. But after several minutes you will memorize it,
Has anyone done a template for the PMDG 737 using the Airbus MCDU?
