I use Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick and works well other than the twist is a pain in the back as over time it’s getting worse, already taken it apart once to remove the problem.
Been looking at the winwings URSA MINOR Airline Joystick…
I have the Ursa Minor Fighter and find it much better than the Thrustmaster. Way better precision and feels more valuable. I think it is a great deal for the price. If you can afford it, get the fighter version. It has so much more buttons to assign and it makes control much easier.
I see the Fighter edtion, and it has way too many buttons for my needs. For left it’s £120 and it’s still pre-order while the airline is £69 with £12 off with free shipping. I don’t do combat flying so most of those extra buttons won’t be used, also on my TCA joystick I do not even use the left or right buttons XD
While it’s nice to have extra buttons, an Extra £50 for not using them is deep at the moment.
My Thrustmaster TCA twist is getting to me, not too bad in bigger airlines however small aircraft like the C172 you do notice the rudder more even though I’m not even touching the axis,
Just want a joystick with a twist that doesn’t move while I’m flying left, right, up and down you know LOL
Left URSA MINOR Airline Joystick - Only £69 On sale from £89
Well, sales are on as we speak. From hearing good reviews I say it’s time for a change, Not to mention it’s not just the flying but taxing with the twist, I adjusted the sensitivity as far and low as I could to help the movement, and I got it to the point that I can’t go any lower,
So just with my little finger on the stick the twist axis goes left and right real fast, since I adjusted the sensitivity to the lowest option so that it doesn’t do it, it makes it better however when I want to go right, it moves slowly to the right then sharp right instant right.
My TCA joystick twist is very loose anyway, had it for three years now
I’m very happy with the Winwing Ursa Minor Airline joystick. Feels quality and works well. Plenty of buttons! Only comment the recessed “hat” switch can be awkward to use at times.
