Currently there appears to be no way to receive email notifications when items we have placed on the Wishlist in Marketplace come on sale. I have seen other posts on this before, but I can find no official answers. A firm answer would be appreciated but putting this feature in place would be appreciated even more.
Hi there,
Yuu can start by voting for this wish, if you haven’t already:
It’s sad that it has so few votes, as I think it is an excellent idea.
I assume that a “vote” is simply a reply to your post which replied to mine. The developers shouldn’t have to rely on votes for this feature, however, as it is a no-brainer. They need to just get on with it.
Hi, I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understood. But I will say that if it were up to me, I would have implemented this feature years ago. But it’s not up to me.
There are a lot of no-brainers that I think the team should do, but haven’t yet. The team relies, at least in some part, on vote count to decide what features to add. So the best thing to do is to vote for that and anything else that is important to you. If you disagree, not a problem. But I’m trying to help in the only way that I can. I’m on your side with this.
All good, we have our two votes at least and no doubt many others would vote the same way. I play my own version of MSFS 2020 on Steam, where users can opt to be notified via email when any Steam game or item they’ve added to their own profile’s Wishlist goes on sale. Our point is that, if Steam can do it, then surely any game generally available online --with its own Marketplace feature (like MSFS) – should be able to do the same. I don['t have the 2024 version of MSFS but presumably it has the same problem. So, over to you, MSFS…
