I would hope that once we have the data it would not go away and we would not have to pay streaming charges again. Otherwise we are just downloading the same data over and over … seems like inefficient use of bandwidth.

That’s what the cache is for, isn’t it?
Certainly is.
So after a week of flying the same location I have noticed that the cache file is updated every time I fly. So I’m still wondering if I am resaving/streaming the same data over and over. If so this might have an impact on the flyers with a metered account, or those who have bandwidth limits.
