When loading a PLN file (made from LittleNavMap because web planner lacks several airports, for example this destination airport, SA01), the plan is correctly displayed on the tablet:
The only fix is to load again the flight plan on the tablet, which doesn’t remember the location and forces to dig around again to the drive location of the folder.
In case someone wants, I’m attaching the file to test.
If it can be reproduced I’ll file a bug report, just for documentation because I don’t see it’ll be taken care of.
Thanks!
Edit: now that I think about it, I’m not sure if this is the appropriate section, so any mod, please feel free to move this to the correct section. Thanks as always
On the EFB, if you switch from VFR to IFR and send to ATC, then you’ll see your route on the World map. Should not be this way I assume but seems to be an issue with custom waypoints when VFR is selected in the EFB.
Thanks for the quick reply! Just voted, didn’t find that one. Indeed, it has to be issued as an IFR plan, which makes absolutely no sense at all.
Sadly I don’t think this bug alone will make into the bug fixing queue (there are more important bugs that aren’t making it either), but well, at least for documentation purposes.
About the other one (plan missing after changing starting point from a runway to a gate), is there another report? Apparently, I suck at searching. Also noticed that “Send to avionics” isn’t working with PMS 750, perhaps that’s reported too (Sal1800 Cessna 206H has the option, but manually loading a VFR flight plan is a no-go).
I haven’t found a report neither. Feel free to create one in the Bug Reporting Hub > User Interface & Activities , using the provided template, filling in all required fields with as much details as possible especially in the “Reproduction Steps” section.
Seems to be related to 3rd party aircraft using the PMS 750. If the case, you should report the issue directly to the developers of this aircraft.
Well, at least I haven’t failed that many times in a row. Don’t worry about the steps, I’ve reported a few bugs before. Thanks again for the help as always
