Brief description of the issue:
When you enter the sim, the World Map used to be on the top left of the page. Somehow with the latest update, it moved to the top right. This is wrong.

Sorry, have to say it: World Map is on the right side of the Main Menu.
Anyway, you are right about āused toā, but why are you sure how it āsupposed toā?

Back to why I posted thisā¦
I get why they put Explore first, for all the newbiesā¦ But once the newbies fly their first couple of explorations, the first place everyone goes is the world map. As I said, I read left to right. For nearly a year, the interface has had the World map on the leftā¦ where it ābelongsā
- Itās really bad form to change UIās so drastically
- With this change, theyāve reduced the utility of main menu in my opinion. Iām long past wanting to go explore. I usually know where I want to fly, I want to go to the World Map. It should be first.
In my opinion, they had it right the first time. With the World Map on the left, and āfunā stuff as the second menu choice.
I get that they designed the graphic and graphically, it does look ābetterā with the āarrowā of the explore menu pointing at the world map. Be that as it may, I donāt like that I have to move my mouse further to go where I want to go everyā¦ singleā¦ time.
If this doesnāt get a lot of votes, so be it. But, itās how I feel. So I reported itā¦ in, yes, a somewhat hyperbolic way. But, hey, my presentation got your attention
Itās a small thing, and I wholeheartedly agree it should be on the left side. Why? Because thatās how it was before, and because free flight is where the majority of the gameplay is, in my opinion.
If I could vote this multiple times, I would, and I hope more people feel the same way. Bring back the left side world map!
