Here’s what I got of it. You can get right up to the XB-70s main gear, B-58 not so much.

LMK if it can’t be accessed or something

Thank you so much Unstopy!!! These are the best pictures I have for the landing gears, by far.
I love them, I can see a lot of details impossible to see on the pictures I had found till now!
They will be very useful, also the B58 ones, they are crystal clear and very sharp.
It is fantastic to see how complex and brilliant engineering was put onto these gears!
I owe you a barrell of beer…! Thanks!

I took my new baby out to the sky for the first time ever in MSFS.
It’s almost just started but the pbr materials look great. And the engines are powerful, I enjoyed this first exit with this bird!
I will soon start a new topic for the B58… but I’m still working on the last details on XB70.

Interested in seeing the XB-70 come to fruition. Do you know what you’ll be releasing it on? I thought I read something about donationware mentioned somewhere on the topic.

It is possible that the XB70 will be released on SimMarket or other platform, the donationware was my first idea but I had to ask for support to other persons so the thing is getting more complex but also more interesting, but for the official announcement is too early now.
I am confident that the Valkyrie will be ready for the release in 2024, but possibly before spring.
More a hope than a certainty, but a reasonable hope.

Do it. Simmarket, MSFS marketplace, contrail, etc.
You’ll do good. Find a balanced price, 2 versions, complex and standard and send it.
You’ll do good.

I can vouch that Xbox players would definitely love to have it on Marketplace

If you don’t expect/hope to actually make money on it, one possibility would be to release it as open source on GitHub. (The Blender model, the cfg and xml files.) Then it would hopefully be easy for other contributors to participate. Although collaborative work on Blender models must be a bit hard, as the .blend file is a big binary blob, unlike source code, where one contributor can change a handful of lines in one location, and another one can change unrelated lines in another location, without interfering. (Must search if anybody has come up with a good way to do collaborative development of a Blender model. Split up into many smaller models included in a larger master model?)

But sure, then there would be a risk that somebody ignores the license you choose for it and redistributes their own version (with some minimal changes, like livery) in a purely proprietary fashion. But if you aren’t distributing your add-on through the in-game Marketplace, that risk is there anyway, as there is no encryption.

Note that I don’t mean real-time collaborative editing of a Blender model, but a way for separate developers to work on different parts on their own, and then create (in some suitable fashion) a “change” or “patch” that would be committed to source control, and be visible to other developers when they pull in changes. Like one does for source code in large projects.

It is possible to work on specific parts in blender and then append them to a base file, so e.g. one could develope the main instrument panel in very high detail (starting from the basic shape of the panel in order to have a guideline for position, scale, etc).
The problems could be with duplicated materials, animations, and other issues.
There are some rules to follow, but it could be possible.
Another very important subdivision is between model and textures, that require different skills,
and then there are the aerodynamics and engine configuration files, gauges and animations programming, sounds, effects… a lot of things that can be splitted among a team…

Keep on keeping on Airmax! Still looking forwards to your project…s Projects! THat B58 looks lush! Way to go!

A slight thread bump, but is there any more progress on this leviathan? The add-on so far looks amazing!
