xBox 360 gamepad

Has anyone have luck using the gamepad for MSFS? I don’t seem to be able to hold the plane in stable altitude. After pushing the left stick it continues to climb. When I pull it back it dip instead of leveling.

Yeah, currently using a Xbox 360 wireless controller . Everything works great . Had to adjust dead zones ( +18 ) and also reduced sensitivity ( - 30 on both sticks ) . Takes a bit of trial and error to find the sweet spot .

The constant pitching up and down sounds like the sensitivity on the left stick . I also mapped the trim to the up / down arrows on the key board . Easier to dab these to level the plane , than to use the Y + hat button on the controller .

Hi,
How did you get your xbox 360 wireless controller recognized in windows 10 ?

From what I recall , I plugged in the wireless receiver into the usb on the laptop and it started loading / installing some software or other . Once I turned on the controller , everything worked perfectly .

P.s . Just in case you weren’t aware , you require a wireless receiver for your Xbox 360 wireless controller to work with your PC .

Mine came in a pack with the 360 wireless controller . You can purchase the receiver online ( amazon , ebay etc ) separately .

Thanks for quick reply.
Actually, plugged in different USB port, restarted PC and it started to work!
Really fantastic to be able to use the conttroller for controlling the drone cam and the external one!!
