Just to clear that out…this is not a MSFS issue… but I just need help from anyone who came across the same issue with me.
Few days ago I tried to change the settings for multiplayer in MSFS and I got the following message “Your current Xbox settings prevent you from playing online multiplayer”
I then logged in my Xbox account and tried to change my profile settings but for days I get this message
I have tried everything, I googled it and found out that this is an issue that a lot of people have but no solution was found…
If anyone has encountered something simmilar and managed to overcome it please share…thanks
This is unbelievable. Am I the only one with this silly issue?? The funny thing is that I have never ever changed any settings in my xbox profile and now I am stuck with MSFS with no multiplayer functionality…
Thank you a lot Microsoft…
Hey bud. I haven’t experienced this issue but we can work it out.
First thing I will try is the xbox privacy settings. There’s an option to allow/prevent multiplayer gaming in the settings, make sure that is set to on. That should solve that. Let me know!
Thank you a lot for your reply. The thing is that it doesnt let me get into the settings to change them…
I’ve tried logging into xbox.com with a different account and all was fine…however my normal account is ''blocked" from Windows 10 online safety…
I even tried logging into xbox.com from my smart phone, in case it was a Windows 10 issue, but the same…
No its not. Its an adult account with no restrictions…except this one…
I followed the link that you provided…they are really funny…to solve the issue I have to go the safety on windows 10 link that doesn’t open…where do they find these people?
I found someone with the same problem who used this workaround
Annoying, but better than waiting on a support ticket with Xbox
Your maturity level is set too low
You’ll need to make a second account, go to https://account.microsoft.com/family on that second account, create a family group then add your main account as a child to that family group, accept from your main account, go to content restrictions for your main account from your second account and set everything to unblocked
Tried that, I 've made myself a child and used another account to be my parent, I logged in from the ‘‘parent’s’’ account, unblocked everything but again the same thing ‘‘we were unable to load your settings…’’ …I’m bound to be restricted from multiplayer…
Did you check if multiplayer became enabled after unblocking everything?
I doubt it’s a Windows problem, but you can always delete/create a new profile in Windows without reinstalling everything
I would probably create a ticket with MS/Xbox and see if they can help
Yes I did check but it didn’t change anything. I will check if a new profile will make any difference.
If nothing happens I will do the ticket thing.
I will tell you if anything works…
