I’ve seen a lot of videos online where people connect various peripherals through Microsoft‘s adaptive controller for Xbox. Has anyone tried this setup with “incompatible” peripherals? I am thinking of trying this for the Saitek PRO Flight Switch Panel.
Thoughts? Ideas?
I don’t think the connection is so much the problem, more the software required to run it and read the variables, etc…
Unfortunately it wont work. The adaptive controller just enables you to use external switches and buttons as xbox game pad buttons. It’s for people with disabilities that can’t use a game pad. The Saitek panels need external software to run.
darn…ok. I saw a video of a guy who plugged the Logitech side panel (for farming simulator) (incompatible with xbox, pc only) into an adaptive controller (via usb on adapt. ctrl), and it worked on his xbox. Figured maybe the same could be done here.
I use a Extreme 3D pro flight stick with my adaptive controller! You plug it into either side of the controller with the thumbstick usb ports are. It allows you to replace the thumbstick with a larger flight stick, and program a limited number of buttons. Some other features of the stick, like the twisting function and the thumbstick switch at the top are not supported by adaptive controller.
