Hello- question, is there any adapter, headset or controller that offers bluetooth connection between it & the xbox for audio? I know xbox’s bluetooth is locked down. I also don’t online game, so no mic needed if that saves money. but id just like a bluetooth headset or be able to use my air pods with Xbox so early morning, late at night, etc, I don’t have to play with the tv muted. this goes for any game.

From what I can see, the controllers have a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you don’t really need wireless. However, there are options out there that provide a wireless adapter that connects to the controller.
I used the XBOX wireless headset made by Microsoft themselves for a few years and it worked very well. Not only can you connect to the XBOX, it can simultaneously connect to another Bluetooth device such as a phone. The ear cups are rotating dials, with one managing volume and the other managing the blend between the XBOX and the other device. After a lot of use the battery is still good on mine (it charges through USB-C like the controller).

I opted for a $7 pair of wired earbuds from target
