Xbox camera clip changed to video

Since SU10 my game screen shot to take a pic or an an image has now changed to a 1 minute video. Does anyone know on Xbox how to get this back to just a screen shot/
Pic

Thanks in advance

push the screenshot button once for a screenshot and hold for a couple of seconds to get a video…

hope this has helped ya

Tried that and still just a video clip is prepared

is the button sticky or anything ? literally one quick push for a screenshot and hold a tad longer for video…works for me…or maybe settings …after this ive no idea fella

hope you get this sorted

Button seems ok. It’s out as in not sticking. Must be a setting or something within the Xbox

I see similar behavior both on the Xbox controller and the Velocity One

I have the velocity one as well

Check your “Capture” settings within the Xbox OS itself.

Good shout that mind - I will land first

You’ll find a “Button mapping”, uh, button to take you to the Xbox Accessories app for configuring the controller’s Share button behavior.

So when I go to the Operating system the connect a device comes up. I’m using a velocity one but it won’t connect

This is a bug, its not the mapping - mine is exactly the same since SU10, mapping shows press for screenshot, hold for video but whatever you do to the button you get a video :frowning:

I fixed it earler

Go into your mapping settings for your controller and you can assign what you want that button to do.

Tried this - its mapped correctly but the buttons do not do what they should in FS2020

Xbox X with a Velocity One controller here - I’ve used FS2020 from the beginning, the screen capture button worked perfectly, and I captured hundreds of screenshots, then one of the updates around SU10 or so changed that behavior so that it started capturing video. And now, here we are at SU14, I am still unable to grab a screenshot, the button no matter how quickly you press it, still only records video, and no matter what I’ve tried to fix it, I can’t seem to find a workaround.
