I’m new to this and am on a Xbox series x. I just purchased a new place and can not find it anywhere. I have read some comments about it being in a folder called “official” which I also can’t find.

Did you buy on marketplace ?, an airport or a scenery ?

You still need to download the product after purchase. Go to Profile / Content Manager and search for your product to download it.
Incidentally, there is no option to display folders in the Xbox.
