On PC, when i remove all the assignments of the menu the Xbox controller still functions in the menu, and it shows the icons of the controller buttons. I would like to be able to remove all functionality from the Xbox controller so i can only use it to control the camera.
Try to make a New profile give it a name egt null or test profile.
And delete everything in this new profile save it and change it with the standaard profile.
That’s exactly what i’ve done. Nothing is assigned in the newly created profile, only camera controls.
Flight controls are not working, but the menu functions are still working regardless if these actions are assigned or not.
Have u tried to delete the assignments you dont want by select them and remove em by clicking disaster the binding and validate
Yes that’s how i removed them.
The problem is on the world map the globe is turning when i have the controller plugged in, adding a deadzone to the sticks didn’t work, so i removed the assignments. But this also doesn’t seem to work.
This problem i have the same, though i creates a large deadzone 25% in the middle for the up/down
one

I’m not sure if this is a bug or I’m just not aware of the proper fix but I’m on PC but use an Xbox controller for the drone cam. After SU5 it seems the sim is defaulting to the xbox controller as my primary controller. For example in the menus it has things like “B” for main menu where the “esc” button is normally. Also when in the cockpit if I hit esc it doesn’t back out into the different options menus it only gives me options to return to the main screen by hitting one of the xbox control’s button. My workaround has been to disconnect the Xbox controller before loading the sim but was hopeful there was a fix to be able to use it for the drone cam only again.
