Xbox controller D-pad acts like keyboard arrow keys in Controls menu

Is there an app that I can use to turn of cursor control with the D-pad buttons?
It’s frustrating when pressing the up-down-left-right buttons moves the focus around in the Controls menu, instead of behaving like my other peripherals, and simply identifying which actions are bound to that button.

Also, is there any way to disable this? I only want to use my mouse or keyboard for Windows navigation.

Hi, did you ever resolve this issue? If so how? I am experiencing the same issue currently.

Go to Options, Conttrols Options and either
Search by Input or Select an Input for the D Pad.

Clear any bindings that you don’t want.

I removed all bindings to my D-pad & rebound the eight options to eight ATC commands. Works perfectly.
