Brief description of the issue:
When I enable a game controller (eg usb xbox series x controller) mid game play, it may be detected but is unusable. I cannot select it in the controls menu at all, even manually. Other games detect the new controller and can use it, but not MSFS.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Disconnect xbox controller
Start the game
Turn on the xbox controller
Note the controller wont be usable.
