(Xbox) Every time I type something the keyboard opens again

Brief description of the issue:

Every time I open the keyboard to type something in any text box on the sim, it immediately deletes whatever value I have entered and the keyboard opens up again and have to re-enter the numbers or characters. This has been going on for at least 3 months now I want to say.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Let’s say you’re setting up the flight weight values:

  • Hover over Captain weight and press A
  • Type in a value and press enter
  • Value instantly reverts to a blank field (OR) it saves the value but the keyboard opens again regardless of which outcome. You have to submit again.
  • Type value in a second time and then you’re done

I want to say it was around the time City Update IV: Western Europe was released but I could be way off.

Same here! I thought my controller was broken! Very annoying issue!

Yeah, I get this all the time… just never got around to reporting it.

Oh man this enrages me and drives me nuts! Been months now after one of the updates on my Xbox Series X, all of sudden hitting “start” button after typing words in on virtual keyboard causes screen to pop up again right after with same entry in… in essence you always have to do a slow delayed double tap with second or two in between. Just on map screen for planning flight entering in “UBG” to search for VOR, and you hit enter (or press start) and boom after second screen/keyboard up again. After 1000s of inputs it gets annoying! Anyone w fix??

I use the virtual keyboard via Xbox controller on the world map and find that when I click enter the dialogue box opens again instead of executing the action it should have.
