So,it seems that disabling xbox gamebar from windows,made all stuttering and ctds go away.
Simple as that.
Rediculous as that.
I am making 2 hour flights,recording,pausing the game,opening browser and all is fine UNTIL NOW.
Could that just be it ?
Have seen numerous users post the same. If it works, great. Don’t understand why. I often have it running to monitor resources, capture video, and chat with my son while we fly.
Neither of us have encountered any issues having it running.
Is it possible that it depends on versions…??

2nd day now and yes…no more ctds OR STUTTERS after i disabled it
how would one go about disabling the xbox bar?

Thanks @SAKISAPPOLON I will definitely disable the game bar. Yeah it’s like when I’m close to my destination or on approach it’s like Bye Bye without any error. So yeah I’ll disable the game bar now! Thanks a lot!

It has been disabled in my house for months, but I still have CTD.
Even when activating it, I still have CTDs
Windows logo, settings, You’ll see “Gaming” with Xbox logo, click on it and disable/enable Xbox Game Bar

This is almost mentioned everywhere and in every “get more FPS” video on YT to disable the gamebar and ESPECIALLY the background recording to get better performance. If you have this enabled, Gamebar will record your gameplay in the background which might cause performance-impact.
If you guys are at it, also disable the Shadowplay replay function, as it does the same, constantly recording in the background. However, i have that on and on my system it does not have an impact.

it does not record if you don’t click the appropriate box for it.
What is shadow replay? First time i see it
IF you have background recording on, it records in the background, even if you dont hit the record button.
Shadowplay is part of Nvidia Experience.
That’s what im saying.it need the tick box to be ON besides the gamebar.

Informing that also today i had flight with 3rd party dev aircraft,recording the flight,montage the flight in a video app,uploading it to the internet and no problem at all with the sim.NO CTDS

xbox gamebar disabled and windows instaled the proper kbxxxx05 (something|) update.
Game works perfectly fine on a Ryzen 7 2700 8 core and a 6800xt Nitro Plus S.E
I just did a flight with the F15 with a jolly roggers livery and had my first CTD after all these days.

NVIDIA’s background recording has very little impact for me (maybe 1-2fps loss, but no stuttering). Game bar background recording causes huge, constant stutters and always has.
Ryzen 3700X, RTX 2070 Super.
