ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue: I am currently setting up an Xbox One controller in MSFS 2020 for helicopter use, with the intention of using the right-hand thumbstick for the cyclic control.
However, when I assign longitudinal cyclic axis to the Y axis, it only works properly when in inverted-axis mode. When in standard mode, moving the stick in the Y axis only has a very small amount of input, as seen in Input Viewer. Obviously, a stick has to behave in a logical manner, and currently it either barely moves the nose or it’s stuck in pull-back, nose-down inverted mode which is no bueno. Note that assigning any other axis control to this stick (collective, for example) has the same issue.
I’ve calibrated the controller in joy.cpl, and everything is operating properly. I even did the same in Xbox Accessories and also tried the inversion option in there (that didn’t work), and then I calibrated everything under Steam’s Controller section. Still nothing. Even turned all assists on and off, to see if there was a conflict. Now out of ideas…
