Hi,
I pre-ordered the premium edition, but as there is some problems with the store/distribution
, I have tried to install only the standard edition (uncheck the “premium” checkbox at launch, so that it will install only the “standard”).
This install correctly, except that there is only 24 aircraft in the hangar instead of 25. The missing one is the Beechcraft Baron G58.
When I look into the content manager, I can see that all aircraft are in double:
- one file with the normal name.
- and one file with the “- 01” suffix.
Look abnormal, corrupted distribution package or something like that.
I opened a ticket #115988 in zendesk.
Did you notice the same problem with your installation ?
I believe the -01 file is a livery?
SOLVED:
As a PREMIUM pre-order for Xbox, the distribution package had errors and didn’t include the “DELUXE upgrade”. It’s a well known error, and Microsoft has fixed it by sending a notification to Xbox customers, given the ‘code’ to activate it.
I entered this code at the MS redeem site, and this unlock the DELUXE upgrade. Then, when starting Flight Simulator, this upgrade automatically install. I finished the PREMIUM setup by installing the “PREMIUM upgrade” manually (in the content manager).
The missing file is in the DELUXE upgrade…
so, until I installed it, the Beech G58 was not present in my hangar.
Strange: was wondering that the G58 was in the “standard” edition. But, as the missing file is in the DELUXE upgrade, we also need this one.
Sure the problem is solved, but this can’t explain why the G58 has one part in the “standard” package and another in the “deluxe” upgrade.
