I think it’s not related to the console version
It happens on PC also.
The general consensus thus far is that there must be some kind of memory leak which leads to the degradation of the sim over an amount of time to the point when it becomes unplayable eventually.
We can only hope Asobo will come up with a fix for that. I’m pretty sure they will at some point , they need just time to address the plethora of bugs and issues in the sim. Patience is key I think, after all Asobo stated several times that FS 2020 is a 10 years project and we’re still in year one. I have high hopes that the sim will be stable at some point in the future.
