Brief description of the issue:

Xbox X, SU15 1.37.19.0, flying 787-10, I’ll have a CTD and try to “Report a Problem” - but the “Report A Problem” app has its own problem and can’t report.

This has been happening consistently in the past 2 weeks. 2 flights in a row (several days apart) the sim has crashed before Top of Descent, CTD. So I dutifully press and hold the Xbox Button to “Report a Problem”… but that fails as well.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

  • Flying 787-10 (today was CYYZ to KMIA, live traffic and weather)
  • Before Top of Descent I open VFR map to check METAR at destination
  • Hover mouse pointer over VFR map and CTD
  • Press Xbox button to “Report A Problem”
*(this is how you submit crash report on Xbox)
  • Report A Problem “Has” a problem.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Xbox X
MSFS 1.37.19.0 Premium Deluxe
All World and City Updates installed
Xbox default controller

Moved to Bug Reporting Hub > Crashes (CTDs) that is more appropriate. Title altered to better reflect the issue.

Sorry, but the new title does not reflect the bug I am reporting.

The initial crash is (I believe) a memory issue. The problem I am reporting is - AFTER MSFS crashes, the Xbox “Report A Problem” app fails to report, with its own problem.

Ok, understood the issue you want to report, title reverted :+1: .

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Same problem with 787, but now resolved, after re install and NOT installing many things, RC 16GB.
