We NEED to have the ability to select from Fixed Cameras within the “Select” view button. In 2020 and 2024 you can only select between cockpit / external using the select. But WHY can we not cycle to a 3rd view of our choosing? How does one set this up? There’s no information on it. Infact you can only do this by exploiting a glitch which now seems to have been patched!
All i want to do is sit in the A320 and land whilst watching out of the window, that’s all. A simple request, why can’t we have more options here!!
Why not plug in a keyboard and set up custom cameras? I think what you describe is the least of their concerns right now
It’s a major issue that stops enjoyability for many users and I shouldn’t have to buy a keyboard to plug in? It should be quick and accessible. It’s not hard to code the option is it?
Well you’re right you shouldn’t have to buy a keyboard I’m just telling you that is the fix. In an ideal world the 1000 bugs in the sim wouldn’t be there. What you’re describing is probably not going to be addressed any time soon and with all the other bugs posting this at this current moment in the sim’s state is somewhat unusual to me.

There is no reason why after years of Flight Sim by Asobo that we can’t have the “select” button choose between more than just “Cockpit / External”. I want to be able to use the button cycle to go straight to a custom view, but I can’t? Why? No idea, makes ZERO sense. They could code it easily so I can go from Cockpit to a window seat on the A320 and see the autoland. They could add a fly-by view, they could do many things but they don’t and we on Xbox are stuck with just finnicky behaviour and faffing around. I expected more. It’s not made for the Xbox, but yet they still have it out and it’s a pain.
Someone commented to me earlier on another site you can’t use a keyboard for Xcloud anyway.
