XboxGames + .GamingRoot Folders Created at Runtime Post SU9

I am just wondering if anyone noticed the client creating the XboxGames empty folder and the hidden empty .GamingRoot folders when starting the sim now on the boot drive.

Does this have anything to do with the extra launcher that loads to sync files before starting the sim now? Is this a bug or intended functionality because there are Microsoft Knowledge based posts on deleting these folders for proper gamepass and XBOX APP functionality.

It seems the new launcher added to the sim that boots up and syncs files before the actual sim loads, also triggers the “Microsoft Malware Protection Copy Accelerator Utility” and can’t be disabled after loaded. It can only be disabled before loading the sim and requires a reboot to disable.

I got it also. Don’t know what it is for.

Something funny going on since the last update with this stuff. Anyone from Microsoft or Asobo care to take this?

Yeah, that´s so annoying, if you don´t know what´s going on on your hard disk… typical for MS…
I have the game installed on a spare drive, but folder + file has been crated as well on my system drive (but empty), I just deleted folder and file on my system drive and kept the files on my spare drive…game still running…
