Is there a bug with the XCub’s GPS? I was flying over Phoenix, AZ and the Garmin’s compass was off 90 degrees. I was flying north and the GPS indicated east. The mechanical bubble compass at the top of the windscreen was accurate.

Hi @SunDevilPilot
I tried to replicate the issue using the basic version of the xcub and flew both W-E and S-N over Phoenix and the GPS and whiskey compass agreed in all situations.
This is in a completely unmodded sim. Were you using a different variant of the plane, are you running any add-on’s/mods/outside programs?

Hi @SunDevilPilot
I’m still not seeing any issue.
I’ve adjusted the HDG dial, and pressed the HDG button multiple times when close in to the airport without those actions causing any issue. I’ve tried it with the window insert you show, and that didn’t affect anything. As you can see, my compass is lined up with the runway heading.
Again, do you have any mods or add-on’s (scenery, airplane, etc) including anything you bought from the MS store loaded or streaming? Potentially, any of those could be interfering with the sim.
Are you pressing the HDG button with a mouse, or do you have a key/button assigned. If you’re using a key/button to press the HDG, can you check and make sure there’s no other actions assigned to that function on any of your peripherals. Thanks.
I’ll keep looking an see if I find any other factors that might cause that issue.
Regards
