I hope to see a lot of you join us for this one, and for the upcoming flight on this Friday night.

We are a very active community and we have people of all skill levels, from real world instructors and bush pilots to people who never saw a flight sim before last week. We have people who like to fly a flight plan procedurally, and people who spend half the trip inverted in an Extra or a Caravan. EVERYONE is welcome, we’re just there to have fun together, help each other a little, and enjoy some laughter. The more the merrier. We’ve got active members from all over the planet, and half of us seem to be flying together when we should be sleeping in our own time zone. =)

Voice communications is not necessary, but is highly recommended. Don’t be shy, no question is too naïve, and we encourage newcomers to speak freely because that’s what this is all about. I’ve only been flying with this group for a short time, but you’ll quickly get to know them and I think you’ll find yourself looking forward to that “next flight”.

Feel free to drop into the discord anytime you see Popcorn or one of us in there flying, then enter one of the voice channels or send a chat , and we’ll give you our present coordinates so you can join us.

We’ve been flying on the Southeast Asia server, because it seems to perform very well for everyone involved. My ping to it is horrible because it’s on the opposite side of the world from me, but it doesn’t seem to matter one bit and it’s buttery smooth.

My FS2020 handle is, “WaldoP3pper”.

BTW, This Idaho flight consists of many US Forestry Service bush fields and some local ranch fields. GunPilot found some really fun approaches. Join us in Yellow Pines!

I can’t wait! I joined into a recent Japan event, but I was really late…it was pretty much at the end of the trip. Gotta stock up on a bunch of munchies to get ready for tonight’s trip.

I haven’t flown the 208B G.C. yet. Hmmm, I wonder if I should take a few practice flights

:flushed: Uhhh, yeah, that might be a good idea.

You’ll want to make sure you have this mod → GitHub - Exp232/C208-MSFS2020-Fix: Improvements to the Caravan in MSFS2020

It improves the handling and performance of the aircraft.
