Getting fed up trying to get my CH yoke and Pedals to work. Best I can do is get one or the other to work with CH Control manager. Does anybody have a recommendation for a yoke and throttle guaranteed to work? What about the Logitech G Pro yoke system (169.99 on Amazon)?
Precision on the Logitech yoke is not the best. It’s an old and relatively cheaply made design. There seem to be large differences in quality. Some report problems with dead zones and imprecise handling. Others seem to be happy. It’s sorta ok for the price but if you can get one, the Honeycomb surely is the better one. And 249,- is a fair price for what you get
Hi
without a doubt (for me at least) the Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo throttles, but they’re not cheap!
If someone is asking advice on what car to buy, much depends on expected quality. Lexus? Bentley? Honda? A new Chevy seems nice until you text drive a Maybach right after it.
Budget plays a large part of deciding new peripherals. Yes, the Yoko is awesome…the Honeycomb is very nice… but the Saitek/Logitech is budget friendly and works fine. Of course, it’s different engineering to get that less expensive price tag.
yes…fair enough
The Fulcrum is in between the Honeycomb and Yoko in price and worth investigating.
Uses actual aircraft switches on the yoke handles and the handle will eventually be able to be swapped out for alternate types on the fly. Features Metal construction, no superfluous switch gear, 180 degree aileron and 8" elevator travel.
Which ch yoke are you using?
I’m using the base model without any issues.
Calibrated in windows and easy to set up in msfs.
I would suggest not using the ch program. I do not use it.
With regard to the CH pedals, I had no end of trouble with them until I deleted the Win10 calibration in the Win10 setup and reset them in win10 to default.
If your budget allows I’d go for the Honeycomb Alpha… you could add the Bravo throttle at a later date and together they’re awesome. Don’t know how easy they are to purchase right now though. I had to wait 5 months for mine but well worth it IMHO.
I played around with a couple of different yokes before getting one of these…https://flypfc.com/shop/yokes/desktop-yokes/cirrus-beech-desktop-yoke/ but this was before they became sooooo expensive. The Logitech is what I used for a long time. I also used, when I first started out, the CH Yoke which was NOT very good IMHO. I think today I would go with the ALPHA! Best of luck!
